Are you a stellar Community and Ambassador Manager?
We are looking for a talented and motivated Community and Ambassador Manager to join our team at Storey. This role is a part of our growing Marketing team. Founded by two ex-Googlers, Storey is in stealth-mode and interest is growing through word-of-mouth.
You will be getting in on the ground floor to help build a new business. You will be working with a world-class team: We’re a group of experienced technology leaders and our Company is backed by experienced investors in the social and commerce space.
We’re looking for someone who is excited to help us grow our external community programs from the ground-up. You want to put our best foot forward because we are building a consumer-facing social app and you would be at the fore of enticing new users and micro-communities to join Storey.
We are a small team so you won’t be just a cog in the machine, you will be leading our daily efforts surrounding external Storey platforms—including our community on social media and our student ambassadors. We want you to be an active part of the creative process of making the company more scalable. Our team is remote and we conduct team meetings through Zoom and communicate regularly using video chat and Slack. Working hours should coincide well with Pacific time zone.

*What You'll Do
Lead and own our Student Ambassador program from the ground-up.
Work with our public relations team on day-to-day efforts surrounding influencer marketing.
Work with our social media team to help guide the look and feel of Storey externally: create branded ads and maintain a consistent content schedule.
Work closely with our CEO to determine strategies on reaching new micro-communities to onboard to Storey.
Update and maintain brand and style consistency across all efforts.
Share any and all feedback from our social DMs, comments, etc with our User Engagement team so they can gather more information, synthesize, and bring to development when appropriate.
*Who You Are
Knowledgeable in building external marketing programs to increase brand awareness and conversions, both virtual and in-person.
Experience running ambassador, influencer, or marketing programs—especially for students.
Comfortable building relationships and regularly speaking with various constituents whether our public relations team, CEO, or student ambassadors via phone, video chat, email, and other forms of communication.
1+ years experience in communications, social media, marketing, influencer management, or similar role.
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams, as well as independently.
Comprehensive knowledge of social media, content creation, and task tracking platforms or a yearning to learn new platforms.
Detail-oriented and obsessed with tracking, spreadsheets, and organization.
Someone who picks things up quickly, contributes to everyone's learning and wants to grow with the company.
Goals-oriented.
Excited by pioneering and managing fast changes common in early-stage product development.
Incredible communication skills.
Speaks English fluently.
